Economic Development Partners

The Camden County Improvement Authority provides services in cooperation with a variety of partner agencies: 

Camden County College - Camden County College, a comprehensive public community college in New Jersey, provides accessible and affordable education including associate degree programs, occupational certificates programs, non-credit courses, and customized job training. The College welcomes all who can benefit and provides the support services students need to transfer for further studies, prepare for a career, and continue their education. The College responds to the changing needs of its community and students and continuously improves its programs and services to support the economic development of Camden County and the personal development of its citizens.

Workforce Investment Board - In partnership with the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Camden County WIB brings together the business leadership of the region with government agencies, economic development agencies, labor representatives and community based organizations to work towards the development of a workforce system benefiting the Camden County employers and residents.

Camden County Community Development  Department  - administers the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) on behalf of the Board of Freeholders.  The CDBG program is of interest to homeowners, municipal officials, non-profit agencies that provide services to seniors and low income clients, public works contractors and home improvement contractors.  The derpartment also administers a variety of  Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs that provide Camden County with annual direct grants in order to revitalize neighborhoods, expand affordable housing and economic opportunities, and/or improve community facilities and services, principally to benefit low-and moderate-income residents.
